Check valve

Montreal Bronze offers a full range of bronze marine screwed and flanged swing and lift check valves. Check valves are designed to prevent flow reversal. Typical applications are:

• Protecting mechanical equipment : i.e.: pumps, filters

• Isolate primary systems from pressure surges of secondary systems.

Lift checks are quicker to close than swing checks but cause more flow resistance.
